Privacy Policy

Cardo is designed to keep your learning library personal.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

1. What Cardo stores

Cardo stores folders, decks, cards, deck settings, app settings, and locally created backups on your device. This data is used to provide the app and is not sent to a developer-operated server.

2. Accounts and analytics

Cardo does not require an account. Cardo does not operate advertising, analytics, or social features, and does not collect your card content, browsing history, or contacts.

3. Audio and system services

When you use audio playback, Cardo uses Apple’s system speech services to read card text aloud. Apple may process requests according to Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

4. Purchases

Cardo Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. Cardo receives the transaction status needed to unlock the feature, but Cardo does not receive your payment details.

5. Backups and files

Backups are created only when you choose to export them. Backup files may contain your card content and are not encrypted by Cardo. Store and share them carefully.

6. Your choices

You can edit or delete your library inside Cardo and can delete exported backup files from the locations where you saved them. Because Cardo does not operate an account system, there is no developer-held account data to delete.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its update date.

8. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, please open an issue on Cardo Support. Do not include private card content or payment information.
